Item description from the seller
This listing is for 4 of the convertible top pump mounting feet, 2 pointed and 2 spool grommets, they will work on most american cars that have 2 pointed mounts on one side and 2 spool mounts on the other ( this set is not for the cars that have 4 pointed grommets ). Many Ford/Lincoln/Mercury cars used a pump that had 2 pointed mounts that pushed into holes and 2 spool grommets that have the hole to put a screw through, they even come with new steel sleeves that fit in the middle of the spool grommets. If your car has 3 mounting feet we also have a listing that has 3 of the grommets as well, we also have listing that have the rubber fill plug also.
Installation instructions
The pointed mounting feet can be a bit of a pain to install, here is the best way we have found to install them. First spray the pointed end with some silicone spray, dish soap or a small amount of oil. On the top side of the grommet there is a hole that goes part of the way through, use a small rod (like a phillips screwdriver but not sharp on the end!) and insert it into the hole. Place the grommet over the hole on the pump mount and push the rod down, this will stretch out the rubber and it will pop into place, you can use the same process to mount the pump into the car when you have all of the mounting feet installed. You want a rod slightly smaller than the hole so the rubber can stretch, don't use anything sharp and don't push too hard as you can rip the rubber
